THE OPPORTUNTY
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will take ownership of business analysis activities of medium to high complexity, working closely with stakeholders who will rely on your expertise and judgment. You will lead the gathering, analysis and documentation of software specifications, while also delegating less complex tasks to junior colleagues and supporting their development. You will keep documentation for your assigned applications accurate and up to date, ensuring it reflects reality and supports smooth delivery. In your day-to-day work, you will partner closely with development teams, product/platform owners, QA and other key stakeholders to validate user stories, review QA results and drive high-quality outcomes for our digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently on business analysis tasks of medium to high complexity, delivering outputs according to company standards.
- Gather, analyse and document software specifications and business requirements (discussions, workshops, interviews, refinement meetings).
- Decompose business needs into clear specifications and smaller blocks such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain, update and manage documentation and analytical outputs (software specifications, data flow diagrams, components) for assigned applications/parts of software.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product/platform owners, QA and other stakeholders (validation of user stories, QA outcomes, testing, training, support procedures).
- Work with business stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities and use cases for digital solutions; support creation of POCs and definition of “success” criteria.
- Review and control analytical outputs within the analytical team; ensure outputs are complete, consistent, understandable and aligned with standards.
- Prepare and present analysis results and reports to the Project Manager / direct manager and other stakeholders.
- Provide continuous updates during project delivery; communicate changes, risks, issues and ambiguities in a timely manner.
- Guide and support junior members of chapter when necessary.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must-have requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- 3+ years of experience in a Lean/Agile development environment
- Understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, data modelling, and segmentation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially journeys, audience segmentation, data extensions, and campaign logic.
- Working knowledge of Veeva CRM, including objects, field structures, and typical commercial/medical use cases.
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Strong end-to-end BA skills: gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements
- Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria
- Data analysis skills (SQL or SOQL), with an ability to validate data quality, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and interpret data
- Knowledge on, BPMN, UML including modelling tools
- Experience working with multiple systems and documenting data flows / system interactions
- Highly organized; able to break down complex problems and set priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
Nice to have requirements
- Certification in business analysis area (CBAP, BCS, other)
- Life Science/Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry background preferred.
- Familiarity / working knowledge of: Databricks, Power BI, AWS, FTP/sFTP
