As an IT Resiliency Planning Lead working on the Information Risk Management team, you will be empowered to maintain and manage the global IT resiliency framework. In this role, you will contribute to Takeda’s mission by collaborating with Business Continuity program owner to develop all necessary integrations between the two programs. A typical day will include:

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Maintain and manage the global IT resiliency framework, including necessary standards, procedures, and supporting templates
  • Influence and provide subject-matter expertise to IT system owners to enable their adherence to the global framework
  • Collaborate with Business Continuity program owner to develop all necessary integrations between the two programs

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Maintain and manage the global IT resiliency framework, including necessary standards, procedures , and supporting templates
  • Influence and provide subject-matter expertise to IT system owners to enable their adherence to the global framework
  • Collaborate with Business Continuity program owner to develop all necessary integrations between the two programs
  • Coordinate macro-level IT resiliency planning efforts to mature organizational capabilities to orchestrate large-scale recovery activities across multiple sites/technologies
  • Coordinate and supervise IT resiliency plan development and periodic testing activities
  • Develop and deliver any necessary training and awareness related to the IT resiliency program
  • Contribute to live recovery efforts, including outside of normal business hours, where IT resiliency plans need to be executed.
  • Coordinate and supervise the Business Impact Analysis process and criticality ranking across the portfolio of applications.
  • Develop and produce meaningful, periodic reporting on IT resiliency program health for IT leadership.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • DR certification from DRII or BCMI
  • 10 years of proven experience operating traditional IT disaster recovery programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
  • Experience effectively operating in and navigating a global organization with teams located across geographies
  • Able to prioritize, delegate, and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work

Desired

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel periodically, domestically and internationally, to anywhere Takeda has significant IT operations.
  • Flexibility to participate in DR tests or recovery efforts outside of normal business hours
