Job Description


The internship is a laboratory based position in the analytical group within the Cellular Therapies group. The intern will work closely with the analytical scientists in the lab and learn techniques in characterizing the Chimeric Antigen Receptor transduced T cells (CART cells).


Determine markers to differentiate CART cells from literature and design flow cytometry panels incorporating these markers Conduct hypothesis driven experiment Learn to write experimental reports and keep accurate records in the electronic note book according to the company’s policy. Communicate clearly, the findings, to fellow colleagues.


Applicants should be highly motivated and have a strong interest in cellular therapies including immunology. Completion of at least one year of college education in Biology prior to the internship is preferred Previous laboratory experience is also preferred. Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. accredited university for the semester before and immediately following the internship Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree and have completed at least their sophomore year or be a graduate level student pursuing either a PharmD or Master’s degree; for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students, a major in a healthcare, pharmacy or life science field is preferred.
