Job Description

Are you an experienced PayroManager with in-depth knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, ADP and Kronos and an ability to review and interpret time entry system design? Do you want to build something next-gen and innovative, while contributing to a greater purpose? As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth in the U.S. and Europe, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is now hiring a Payroll Manager with a passion for Time & Attendance, digital solutions, and helping patients.
This is a vital role within the People Solutions function— a dynamic team within Takeda Business Solutions. People Solutions is a newly formed function within Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) with the objective of enabling Takeda’s business strategy, delivering simplification, improving service and ensuring a positive employee experience. ‘Building and Delivering Simplified and Innovative Solutions’ is our overarching vision with Patients at the center of all that we do. 
As a Payroll Manager, you will provide new and innovative solutions, and apply digital environment knowledge to drive efficiency and end-user experience in Time & Attendance.  Reporting to the Payroll Solutions Lead, US & Canada, you will be an innovative, trusted partner to business and all US colleagues.
Accelerate value & make an impact by:
  • Manage and supervise all processes related to the Time & Attendance function to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Kronos time entry processing, data transmission and reporting.
  • Function as the subject matter expert in Kronos time entry related processes, systems and project design. 
  • Lead in driving time entry related projects, process improvements and implementing initiatives that will foster automation.
  • Implement recommendations to drive performance improvements.
  • Support Manufacturing facilities in driving process efficiencies, supporting local policies, regulatory compliance and implementing other company Shared Services initiatives
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
  • Excellent leadership skills: proven ability to collaborate with others and drive results in a team and project focused environment
  • Customer Orientation and Continuous Improvement Focus
  • Excellent Communication and Influencing skills
  • Established ability to solve problems while incorporating best practices, metrics and sustainable processes
  • 7+ years of experience managing payroll time system, preferably Kronos
Preferred qualifications:
  • Knowledge of HR related systems - Workday, ADP and Time & Attendance systems
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and organizational skills; can deliver appropriate detail to audience
  • Established ability to solve problems while incorporating best practices, metrics and sustainable processes
