T-CiRA Discovery organizes T-CiRA, a 10-year joint research program with Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto University. Our mission is to deliver the new innovations we have developed there to many patients suffering from intractable diseases as a treatment option as soon as possible. We are developing research on the application of cutting-edge iPS cell technology, including cell therapy, drug discovery, and the development of platform technology, to treat intractable diseases for which effective treatments have not yet been established.

T-CiRA Discoveryは、京都大学iPS細胞研究所(CiRA)と武田薬品工業株式会社による10年間の共同研究プログラム「T-CiRA」を推進しており、そこで培った新しいイノベーションを、難病に苦しむ多くの患者さんに、一日も早く治療オプションとして届けることを使命としています。現在有効な治療法が確立されていない難治性疾患の治療に向けて、細胞治療、創薬、プラットフォーム技術の構築など、最先端のiPS細胞技術の応用研究を展開しています。


Cell therapy is attracting attention as a potential innovative treatment using iPS cell technology. Takeda is currently conducting research on multiple cell therapies and plans to expand further in the future. In cell therapy research using iPS cells as a starting point, we differentiate target cells from iPS cells and evaluate their potentials followed by additional various validation systems including animal models. You will be assigned a role in line with your experience and aspirations in a wide range of cell therapy-related research activities. As an example, the following job responsibilities are assumed.

  • Hypothesize, design and execute research activities to acquire data necessary to develop a platform for iPS cells-derived cell therapy that can contribute to Takeda’s therapeutic focus areas.
  • Understand the strategy of the project, share the research whole discussing with internal/external colleagues, and contribute to the achievement of the goals of the entire team.
  • Timely shares the progress or information about the project.


  • iPS細胞由来の細胞治療法のプラットフォームの構築や最適化に必要なデータを得るために、仮説を立て、試験をデザインし、研究を実施する。
  • プロジェクトの戦略を理解し、社内外の研究者と相談しながら研究を分担し、チーム全体の目標達成に貢献することが求められる。
  • プロジェクトの進捗や情報をタイムリーに共有する。



  • Master degree, PhD preferred
  • 理系大学修士卒以上、博士が好ましい


  • Basic knowledge of pharmacology, molecular biology and cell biology. At least 3 years of experience in the animal experience and/or in vitro research fields
  • Experience and knowledge in the animal experience
  • 薬理学、分子生物学、細胞生物学の基礎知識を有すること
  • 動物実験の経験や知識を有すること


  • Knowledge and skills on in vitro/vivo research such as biochemical analysis and pharmacological assays.
  • Organizational, interpersonal communications, and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • in vitro/in vivo 研究(生化学的解析、薬理学的評価)に対する知識やスキル
  • 組織内での対人コミュニケーションや発表技術を持っていること(口頭および記述)


  • Ability to read, write and communicate in business-level Japanese and English
  • ビジネスレベルの日本語/英語のリーディング、ライティング、コミュニケーション能力

勤務時間:本社(大阪市中央区・東京都中央区)9:00~17:30 、工場(山口県光市・大阪市淀川区)8:00~16:45 、研究所(神奈川県藤沢市)9:00~17:45

Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
