As Ethics & Compliance Manager you will be responsible for: Manage and execute key Ethics & Compliance activities in line with Global Ethics & Compliance Program; Foster ethical mindset and values-based decision making; To promote culture of honesty, integrity and speaking up by guiding and focusing employees on the sequence of Patient-Trust-Reputation-Business.


  • Execute monitoring of high-risk business activities, ensure remediation actions implementation in line with the global monitoring program
  • Review and approval of HCPs and Patient Related activities (Takeda Organized Events, Sponsorship of Conferences etc.)
  • Review and implement standard operating procedures and guidance related to HCPs and Patients activities in line with Takeda Global Ethics & Compliance Policies and Procedures. Implement processes and workflows
  • Execute deployment of the relevant Ethics & Compliance training to the employees, consultants and other Third Parties
  • Ensure and execute transparency reporting under EFPIA (consents tracking, data collection etc.)
  • Identify potential risks and non-compliance in daily business activities for proper addressing and remediation. Developing and implementation of remediation actions
  • Provide guidelines on the relevant Ethics & Compliance principles, standards and regulations in the LOC employees requests
  • Maintain documentation relevant to Ethics & Compliance activities (ECC meetings minutes, communications, training logs etc.)
  • Administer Ethics & Compliance related systems (CLIX, GEARS etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of industry and legal regulations related to healthcare

Critical Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to be a role model for Takeda’s values, ethics and values-based decision making
  • High interpersonal and communication skills including ability to alliance, challenge, provide guidance and influence
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and objectives
  • Mindset of curiosity, learning agility and interest in innovative ways of doing things
  • Ability to develop and implement solutions
  • Strong operations, process-orientation, data analytics, or technical expertise to effectively design, develop and implement relevant business processes, controls, and workflows
  • Good documentation skills

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, relevant advanced degree is preferred
  • Experience in Ethics & Compliance/ Legal/ Internal Audit function and/or healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key laws, regulations and industry best practice standards
  • English language level not lower than Upper intermediate
