As Public Affairs Manager you will be responsible for Public affairs and Project management.


  • Establish and maintain professional, productive relationships with external stakeholders and policymakers to ensure understanding of Takeda strategy and values 
  • In collaboration with the Head of MA & PA:
  • Develop PR strategy to ensure strong accepting importance of rare and oncology diseases burden by society and key stakeholders 
  • Ensure setting up projects – in collaboration with state institutions, patients advocacy groups and other organizations –  that will increase standard of care and access to medicines for patients in respective Takeda therapeutic areas
  • Identify opportunities to partner with external stakeholders and decision makers at regional and national level that lead to recognition of the value of Takeda products
  • Partnership with key external stakeholder (payers, HTA agencies etc.) to get favorable conditions for Takeda products
  • Support of implementation of HC reform by analyzing of best neighbor countries/world examples and preparing proposal for MOH
  • Being of active member of cross-functional team which prepares respective dossier and other materials submission for reimbursement/listing (pharmacy economic part)
  • Ensure timely collection of information, data, trends on healthcare environment across Cluster and assessment of possible impact on Takeda business
  • Prepare documentation for setting up, approval and monitoring of partnership projects

Experience and Education

  • Educated to degree level or beyond,
  • ideally have at least 5 years of experience in one or more of:
  • (i) public affairs or government relations;
  • (ii) working with patient or consumer groups
  • (iii) pharmaceutical market access, this experience should ideally have been acquired in a multinational company, and/or Pharma/bioscience company
  • Proven experience in the healthcare sector is preferred
  • Strong influencing skills for external and internal stakeholders, ability to build productive partnership with different stakeholders groups
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluent English and Ukrainian
