POSITION: PLANT ENGINEER

LOCATION: PISA

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Manage engineering projects and process/facility implementations for Pisa plant

• Lead implementation of highest standard solutions and promote continuous improvement of equipment and systems, as subject matter expert (SME) of a specific assigned area / equipment

• Provide engineering support for maintenance activities to sustainably achieve capacity plans and fulfillment targets.

• HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  ·Responsible of the engineering project / implementation from the feasibility phase to the execution / qualification phase and final handover

  ·Responsible of the technical evaluations and execution activities performed as SME of the specific assigned area / equipment

  ·Support Maintenance problem solving as SME of the area / equipment assigned

• DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

  Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  Drive planning and execution of engineering project and implementations, with strong focus on standardization, harmonization of way of working, systematic approach and proper risk management.

• Ensure that all provided engineering documentation is updated and compliant with technical, quality and safety requirements.

• Ensure the execution of projects / technical implementation within approved and shared scope, time schedule and budget

• Provide and ensure smooth handover of projects to the final internal owner

• Collaborate with Maintenance and Reliability to provide first critical spare parts list and first preventive maintenance plan of implemented equipment

• Support Maintenance for problem solving

• Provide support as SME of assigned area for internal and external audits

• Leadership

• Lead cross-functional team for project execution

• Support and interact with cross-functional team for technical implementation / assessment

• Sees opportunities beyond the scope of own role and influences others to adopt new and effective ways of working

• Enables the project team to work collaboratively and have challenging discussions

• Be capable in making and implementing decisions based on sound business judgment

• Decision-making and Autonomy

  Autonomy in decision-making during engineering project / implementation, reporting and escalating issue on time to the upper level

  Interaction

• Internal interaction required with Maintenance team for problem solving and project implementation

• Internal interaction for proper and on time escalation to the Head of Plant Engineering in case of critical situation

• Internal interaction with CAPEX manager for project budgeting, investment request and cost controlling

• Internal interaction with Qualification team in order to lead and ensure correct validation of the equipment

• Support to QA and Production for investigations / change control and technical assessments

• Support to Compliance for internal and external audit

• External interaction with equipment suppliers / constructors, in order to meet Company expectations in terms of user requirements alignment and timeline / costs respect

• Supervision of external Companies activities executed according to art.26, Dlgs. 81/08

• WHAT YOU BRING TO TAKEDA:

• Degree in Engineering (preferred in industrial topics: Chemical, Mechanical etc...)

• Strong communication, leadership

• Must be a team player prepared to lead cross-functional team

• Project management skills

• Knowledge of IT skills

• Fluency in English (both written and oral)
