Job Title: Customer Excellence Business Partner
Department: Commercial Operations
The position reports to Customer Excellence Lead
Contribute to Commercial Excellence and Business Insight programs and strategies implementation for the specific Business Area ensuring activities such as, Key Account Management, Customer Engagement, Data warehouse management, Market Research, Insights, Forecasts, Sales Force Effectiveness and appropriate support to deliver high quality Customer Service, within Commercial Excellence department policies, European Headquarter guidelines, financial guidelines and local regulations.
Partner with assigned Business Units in the development of commercial strategies though the contribution of insights and recommendations acquired from high quality market intelligence.
Provide business decision support and builds and runs appropriate KPI reports to effectively monitor commercial performance.
Responsible for defining and implementing the sales force effectiveness strategy across the entire product portfolio and facilitates the product forecasting process with the brand team.
Translate business requirements in support of commercial, market access and medical objectives into clear guidance of the appropriate approach.
Actively participate in Brand plan process to review brand strategy, tactics and overall brand plan, plan and coordinate the timelines/ date commitments for MRP, LBE.
In-coordination with commercial business units, develop the resource allocation plan: Portfolio optimization, Sales Force structure & in field team strategy (including other in field roles)
Work collaboratively to establish novel, effective incentive models tailored to key brand deliverable and the setup of the in-field teams
Develop processes to assure relevant and accurate product, customer and market data is readily available to support business planning and modelling.
Develop strategic recommendations for data management, sales support and corporate dashboard software and products by reviewing internal and external business case proposals to align with overall business need.
Set targets and objectives for Commercial Excellence initiatives and promotes & monitors achievements
Actively collaborate with Global and regional counter-parts, by both providing regular updates on the local market condition and implementing new initiatives locally from the central functions.
Manage/lead key cross-functional projects to improve operational excellence and productivity
Provide recommendations from market intelligence into the development of the Sales Force strategy (including geographical deployment and sizing), capability gaps and KPIs
Provide the necessary inputs and insights to the BU Head and Head of Finance in order to set ambitious but realistic financial targets and KPIs for products based on objective evidence and a robust process.
Transforms data and market information into issues, opportunities and strategic recommendations for the business
Embed capabilities and tools including In-Field Promotion, KAM, Key Opinion Leader Management, BI and Digital within the local subsidiary
Act as the subject matter expert by providing guidance and solutions on segmentation approaches (profiling questionnaires) and engagement platforms per channel for the product portfolio.
Provide market insights to support the business unit and the local Digital Lead in strategic targeting, channel preferences and digital content creation
University scientific degree
From 2 to 4 in related experience - Customer or Commercial excellence/Marketing role in pharmaceutical industry or consultant in primary consultancy firms in team dedicated to pharmaceutical industry and/or healthcare providers.
Knowledge of national healthcare system
Project management and implementation in setting up an effective in field team
Ability to encourage cross-functional work in a pharmaceutical organization combined with a clear leadership; responsibility, initiative and commitment; independently drive solutions and focus on results; work in international environment; resolve conflicts/problems; Influence and convince others
Language capabilities: fluent in English and Italian
