The Opportunity:
Objectives/Purpose:
- Support the development and maintenance of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and senior engineers to deliver reliable master data capabilities.
- Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment of MDM enhancements.
- Contribute to data quality improvement initiatives by implementing business rules, validations, and data governance controls.
- Support the onboarding of new data sources and entities into the MDM ecosystem.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing sustainable resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to Takeda data standards, governance policies, and development best practices.
Accountabilities:
- Configure and develop Informatica IDMC MDM components including Business Entities, Relationships, Hierarchies, Match & Merge, and Survivorship rules.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion, integration, and publishing processes using IDMC services.
- Perform source-to-target mapping, data analysis, and impact assessments for enhancement requests.
- Implement and support Data Quality rules and validation frameworks.
- Execute unit testing, support SIT/UAT activities, and resolve identified defects.
- Troubleshoot MDM application issues and support root cause analysis activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and senior developers to implement scalable MDM solutions.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, data loads, and interfaces to ensure operational stability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Takeda's data governance, security, privacy, and GxP requirements.
Preferred Education, Behavioral Competencies, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and/or Informatica MDM platforms.
Good understanding of MDM concepts including Match & Merge, Survivorship, Hierarchies, Reference Data, and Data Stewardship.
Experience with Data Integration, Data Quality, and MDM development activities.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Experience analyzing source data and supporting data onboarding initiatives.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred.
Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience working in regulated environments, preferably Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals, is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables while collaborating effectively within global teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
