The Opportunity:

Objectives/Purpose:

• Collaborate on MDM Strategy for various Business Units and Business Functions.
• Partner with countries and key business stakeholders to identify changes in business and draft end user stories.
• Consult with architects, key business stakeholders, service providers, and IT management in design, planning, integration, expansion, problem determination, and resolution.
• Take ownership of innovation through sustain, product release & strategy, including third-party providers.
• Drive investigations, gain support, and implement MDM technologies that can provide business value.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks (Spark, PySpark)
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
• Work with Delta Lake and lakehouse architecture on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance and GxP standards
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Implement CI/CD, version control, and automation best practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory standards

Preferred Education, Behavioral Competencies, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field & 5+ years of experience in working with MDM technologies and solution design.

• 4–7 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, workflows)
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing
• Experience with AWS and Airflow (S3, DAG , Lambda )
• Ability to design end-to-end data solutions and optimize performance
• Experience working in regulated environments (pharma/healthcare preferred)
• Mentoring junior team members and driving engineering best practices
