The Opportunity

As XD Labs Service designer, you will drive innovation at the India Innovation Centre by collaborating and leading design efforts and integrating user experience across projects. This role blends leadership with creativity and operational hands-on focus to deliver advanced solutions.

In this role, you will help plan and facilitate design workshops (Sprints) projects for a global set of business partners and stakeholders across Takeda and drive Design operations. We work across the organization to bring a human-centered design approach to some of Takeda’s most challenging areas with a specific emphasis on Target digital Product profile and user research.

The Experience Design, Manager is responsible for designing and creating user-facing components of interactive media, such as websites and games. This role focuses on developing user-friendly, attractive, and engaging interfaces, enhancing user experience, and ensuring alignment with Takeda's strategic vision.

How you will contribute:


* Design user-friendly, attractive, and engaging webpages
* Construct less-complex aspects of websites using authoring/layout tools and partner with development teams for more complex aspects
* Administer ongoing website content and functionality
* Design and develop new media interactive tools and graphics to enhance user experience
* Assess and enhance user experience and interaction with new media products
* Lead small project teams and coach junior staff

Skills and qualifications:


A minimum of 6+ years of expertise in service blueprinting, journey mapping, service design, design strategy, human-centered design, design thinking training, workshops, projects, and agile project management.
Research and Data Skills to conduct User research, ethnographic methods, data analysis, etc
Proficient in all user experience activities across product development phases, including user research, low-fidelity design, user interface design, rapid prototyping, iterative design and usability testing.

Proficient in Digital Tools & Platforms such as Figma, Miro, Adobe XD, analytics dashboards.
Strong background in human-centred design, design thinking and agile methodologies, capable of applying this knowledge in highly complex situations and coaching others
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills including able to handle political environment
Experience in global collaboration and working within complex organisational structures and across cultures
Comfortable leveraging emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, to enhance user research, prototyping, and design workflows or similar.
