THE OPPORTUNTY
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will own end-to-end business analysis activities, ensuring clarity and alignment across all project stages. You will lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements, translating business needs into actionable specifications and user stories. Your role includes maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation and partnering closely with development teams, product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to validate deliverables and drive high-quality outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, leveraging your expertise to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform business analysis across varying complexities, delivering outputs aligned with company standards
- Gather, analyze, and document software specifications and functional/non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and refinement sessions
- Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Maintain and update documentation, including software specifications, data flow diagrams, and component details for assigned applications ensuring adherence to GxP, validation, and documentation standards
- Collaborate closely with development teams, product/platform owners, QA, and other stakeholders to validate user stories, testing outcomes, and support procedures
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities, and use cases; support creation of POCs and define success criteria
- Review and ensure analytical outputs are complete, consistent, and compliant with standards
- Prepare and present analysis findings and reports to project leadership and stakeholders
- Communicate updates, risks, issues, and changes promptly throughout project delivery
- Support backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and sprint refinement
- Coordinate UAT, defect resolution, and deployment readiness activities
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must-have requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- 4+ years of experience in a Lean/Agile development environment
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Strong end-to-end BA skills: gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements
- Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria
- Data Flow & Process Diagram
- GxP Documentation Standards
- Proficient in SQL and analysing data in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
- Knowledge on FIGMA, BPMN, UML including modelling tools
- Experience working with multiple systems and documenting data flows / system interactions
- Highly organized; able to break down complex problems and set priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
Nice to have requirements
- Certification in business analysis area (CBAP, BCS, other)
- Life Science/Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry background preferred.
