Objectives/Purpose
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- Development coordination and customization of small enhancements/change requests for the Finance Product Line capabilities in Finance FICO , HR, bank master area, by proactively identifying changes in business and the technology landscape, that would impact the ERP portfolio and developments through the lifecycle.
- Active participant in the Finance Product Line Team ensuring integrated design, build and deployment and operations of responsible product line. Ensure that dependencies are understood, managed and communicated.
- Partner with business and countries, possess solid knowledge of both business and technology, to drive ERP solutions to harmonization, optimization and operational excellence of the ERP Services.
- Ensure business continuity through operational and service excellence of responsible product lines.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead and coordinate the design of small change requests for MDG Finance, HR, bank master data in accordance with business and technology priorities.
- Work as lead consultant of small enahncements or under supervision of senior consultant on on complex projects/enhancements
- Contribute to the designs for product line, ensuring integration into the overall product management roadmap and release plans.
- Oversee/Support the productive and ongoing exchanges of information between the SME, user community, demand & release management, country deployment and Product Services.
- Ensure alignment with Business Process Owners and IT Business Partners to drive engagement, process design, prioritization and deployment support across the respective areas.
- Partner with countries and key business stakeholders to lead the identification of changes in business and the initial drafting of end user stories and provide continued support and training.
- Center design and operations around improving user experience for ERP Finance Product Line.
- Provides leadership in identifying and solving complex problem impacting global/local disciplines on a global/local level and oversees implementations and implications to be solved.
- Contribute to the final definition of user requirements, user stories, specifications and the update/review of Design Papers and process flows and IT Validation related documentation. Working closely with the key business and IT stakeholders and third-party providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
- Support as required key business stakeholders, third party software, service providers and IT management in design, planning, integration, testing, expansion, problem determination and resolution.
- Act as the ‘go to’ person for stakeholders and liaison/driver for business community. Possess knowledge of both business and technology regarding ERP solutions and developments.
- Actively engage with the release and engagement teams, major programs ensuring active adoption and deployment of product line capabilities. Support active engagements and continuous improvement as required.
- Drive “research”, gain support, and implement emerging technologies that can provide business value to Takeda.
- Ensure compliance with Takeda Policies and Guidelines.
- Ensure ongoing operations and run for Product Line areas in collaboration with the product delivery services and other ERP Product groups.

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
- A solid business understanding of finance processes with focus in MDG-FIN/SAP FICO, combined with hands-on configuration experience.
- Candidate should also understand to certain extent integration points and dependencies between the SAP MDG and 3rd party systems (Ariba, Workday, Concur, SAP ECC)
- Strong knowledge of business and technology to drive MDG S4 ERP solutions to harmonization, optimization and operational excellence.
- Manage and configure new SAP capabilities and proto-type solutions to determine fit for meeting stated business requirements
- Experience in Integration Projects / SAP implementations.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Adherence to all applicable performance review cycle requirements and HR policies
- Responsible for identification and communication of required skills and training opportunities to Product Line Lead
- Contribute to Knowledge Sharing initiatives to other team members across the ERP Finance product line
- Mentor and develop more junior team members within SAP FI / SAP MDG-FIN
Complexity
- Track record in product management (must be related to SAP ecosystem)
- Manage activities in concordance with objectives of ERP Finance team, respecting local HR processes, cultural aspects, time zone and languages and Takeda core principles
- Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders (ERP Team, Takeda Business Solutions, Support Teams, ERP Vendors, External Consultants, Takeda GMS Finance Community and local country Finance representatives)
- Responsible for both Projects and Business as Usual issues that impact on the ERP Finance team.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of SAP FICO functional, configuration and development experience ( Previous background of SAP FI/CO consultant is an advantage).
- Hands on experience with Data Modelling, MDG customizing, UI Modelling, MDG Change Requests and MDG Workflows
- Good knowledge of Fiori environment
- Experience in a full lifecycle implementation for a small enhancements SAP application implementation.
- Strong analytical and SAP technical skills
- Accountability and ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written
- Proactively speak-up in case of potential issues and sense for providing realistic deadlines
- Providing, analyzing and benchmarking multiple alternatives within IT project
- Ability to analyze a wide variety of SAP master data and make appropriate decisions.
- Experience with implementing new interfaces within third-party systems.
- Experience with working with multiple teams across organization
- Excellent communications skills in English.
Desired:
- Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.
- SAP certification within module and/or technology desired
- Exposure to S4 HANA an advantage
