The Opportunity

As a ServiceNow Senior Business Analyst, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a specific focus on the design, governance, and delivery of effective, user-centric solutions within the ServiceNow SecOps and Vulnerability Response domains. Your expertise will be essential in gathering and translating requirements, shaping innovative solutions, and ensuring strong alignment with Takeda’s business objectives and security standards. By harnessing your business analysis skills, in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow’s security operations capabilities, and your proficiency in stakeholder engagement, you will enhance Takeda’s ability to proactively identify, assess, and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities. Your work will be pivotal in delivering a seamless user experience while enabling effective risk mitigation and supporting Takeda’s ongoing digital transformation and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery of SecOps roadmap led by the Product Ownerby integrating advanced vulnerability management in ServiceNow to align with risk and security goals.

  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends and ServiceNow enhancements to continuously improve vulnerability response.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into scalable, compliant ServiceNow solutions.

  • Analyse vulnerability and event data to identify gaps, recommend process improvements, and accelerate remediation.

  • Document business requirements, workflows, risks, and lessons learned to ensure transparency, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.

  • Guide IT and security teams in optimizing and automating vulnerability response processes using ServiceNow and security APIs.

  • Manage end-to-end implementation of the Vulnerability Response module, following Takeda SDLC and security standards.

  • Ensure integrated operations between ServiceNow, vulnerability scanners, and threat intelligence tools for comprehensive response.

  • Lead adoption of AI-driven automation for incident triage, threat enrichment, and remediation in vulnerability management.

  • Partner with operations and compliance to resolve issues, ensure best practices, and validate regulatory compliance.

  • Present demos, process enhancements, and recommendations to stakeholders to support security innovation.

  • Mentor junior team members and analysts to advance skills and strengthen SecOps capabilities

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information technology; or relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years of combined experience in business analysis and in architecting, designing, and developing comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, with a strong focus on SecOps and VR modules.

  • 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow Service Catalog module is a must.

  • Strongunderstanding of Security Operations and VulnerabilityResponseprocesses.

  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex business requirements to align with organizational strategies, translating them into actionable insights and solutions 

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to articulate business cases, engage stakeholders, and foster collaboration.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and convey technical information back to business stakeholders in an accessible and actionable manner.

  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification (required).

  • ServiceNow Application Developer certification (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent English (both written and oral).
