About the role:

As a Software Developer in the Donor Information System (DIS) space within the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you will work as a Full stack .NET, Angular and AWS Developer with focus on designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge applications and solutions leveraging the .NET framework and AWS cloud platform. Your role also involves the optimization of solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability, while also implementing robust audit, monitoring, backup, and archival solutions to support compliance. Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, you will translate business needs into effective technical solutions, maintaining continuous dialogue with both business and IT teams to ensure robustness, accuracy and consistency.

By designing and implementing sophisticated solutions, this role directly contributes to PDT’s ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and ultimately, competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help Takeda drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape.

This position will align to Cloud & Custom development of the ICC and initially report to the PDT Delivery Lead for strategic direction as well as day-to-day management until the role of Senior Software Developer for DIS is filled within Takeda ICC, post which the reporting and managerial responsibilities will be transitioned accordingly.

How you will contribute:

  • Ability to independently own and execute the tasks assigned while providing assistance to junior team members as required.
  • Ensure high quality outputs incl. assuming responsibility for the work of junior team members
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust applications using the .NET framework and AWS services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement and integrate third-party APIs, services, and components as needed.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Able to drive major incident situations and provide root cause analysis of the issue for a quick resolution
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in .NET and AWS technologies and incorporate them into project solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document technical solutions, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Develop and implement audit, monitoring, backup and archival solutions.
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across different systems.

  • Data & AI orientation: Demonstrated ability to interpret and work with data (e.g., dashboards, reports, data quality concepts) and understanding of AI/ML fundamentals to adapt to emerging technology trends, identify opportunities for intelligent automation/insights and make data-informed decisions.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in full stack development with a focus on .NET Core and C# language.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with Microservices and Dotnet core.
  • Exposure in front-end development technologies such as HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, SonaType, JFROG, DAST, SonarCloud, CodeQL and frameworks like Angular/ Angular JS or React.
  • Good understanding of the incident priorities, SLA's, importance of timely response to the alerts & business emails.
  • Proficiency in frameworks like Angular/ Angular JS or React.
  • Understanding of basics of VB6/VB.NET.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL.
  • Good understanding of ticketing tools like ServiceNow.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding event-based real-time architectures and technologies such as Kafka, AWS SQS, or similar.
  • Proficiency with Git or other version control tools.
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch or Splunk.
  • Proficiency in using AppDynamics for application performance management.
  • Knowledge in reporting and data visualization tools like SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
  • Familiarity or hands-on exposure to agentic/GenAI capabilities including understanding of use cases, configuration, governance, and safe adoption in enterprise environments.
