The Opportunity

As a Software Test Lead, you provide strategic oversight for the end-to-end testing lifecycle within the Center of Excellence (CoE). Your mission is to move beyond simple "pass/fail" metrics to establish a culture of quality that ensures every configuration change is robust, secure, and compliant with global health authority expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategy and approach for defined product specifications, requirements, and scripts, ensuring a risk-based approach to validation.
• Manage testing documentation and activities to ensure the platform remains in a continuous state of GxP compliance.
• Own the testing roadmap for the CoE, acting as the primary gatekeeper before any code or configuration moves to Production.
• Author the Test Plan, defining the strategy for Unit, System, Integration, and Regression testing cycles.
• Orchestrate Defect Triage by leading daily meetings with developers and BAs to resolve blockers and assess the impact of bugs on the release timeline.
• Govern Automated Testing Frameworks, identifying high-value scenarios for automation to increase efficiency during Veeva’s 3x annual product updates.
• Certify "Inspection Readiness", ensuring all testing artifacts (scripts, logs, and evidence) are audit-ready at any given moment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or other relevant work experience.
• 10+ years of applicable professional hands-on experience in software testing on agile projects with a focus on team leading and software test automation (preferably using tools such as Jira, qTest, Vera & Tosca).
• Must have deep mastery of 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and ALCOA+ principles.
• Good to have CSQE certification and experience with R&D Veeva Vault.
