Role :

The Intake Manager is responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing incoming project requests for successful initiation. This role ensures that all requests are properly assessed, scoped, and budgeted. For selected initiatives, the Intake Manager may also serve as the project lead, driving execution from intake through delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

Intake & Validation

- Receive and review incoming project requests for completeness and strategic alignment. 

- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess feasibility and clarify scope. 

- Maintain intake documentation and ensure readiness for governance review. 

Project Initiation

- Organize and facilitate scoping and estimation sessions. 

- Prepare project charters, kickoff materials, and resource plans. 

- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure readiness for execution. 

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

- Develop initial cost estimates for incoming requests. 

- Build detailed project budgets in collaboration with finance and delivery teams. 

- Track budget approvals and ensure alignment with funding processes. 

Small Project Leadership

- Lead selected initiatives from initiation to delivery. 

- Manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications. 

- Ensure quality and timely execution of deliverables. 

Stakeholder Engagement

- Act as liaison between requestors, delivery teams, and governance bodies. 

- Provide regular updates and maintain transparency throughout the intake lifecycle. 

- Cooperate with workstream leads and consultants, Business Engagement Partners, and other relevant stakeholders. 

Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in project intake, scoping, and initiation is a must 

- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in cost estimation and budgeting. 

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. 

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

- Experience with ERP processes and platform services (ECC and S4/HANA)
