Job Description

About the role:

The Tech Operations and Support, Senior Support role focuses on providing advanced technical support to employee end users. This includes managing and troubleshooting personal computers, servers, mainframe applications, data/voice networks, and ERP systems. By ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, this role helps maintain productivity and efficiency within Takeda.

How will you contribute:

* Acquire, install, and upgrade PC components and software
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through user discussions and coordination with internal and external support teams
* Respond to user requests and research problems associated with telecommunications networks
* Provide real-time end user ERP systems support and training to facilitate knowledge transfer
* Utilize specialized skills to tackle complex tasks and support senior-level executives
* Engage in strategic communications with internal and external contacts
* Work independently within established procedures and practices

* Holds CompTIA A+ certification and applies troubleshooting skills effectively in complex situations
* Experienced in diagnosing and resolving issues with various peripheral devices
* Utilizes Active Directory knowledge to manage and support user access and system organization
* Skilled in operating and troubleshooting Windows 10 and Mac OS environments
* Familiar with Apple iOS and Android systems, providing support and configuration
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 tools to enhance workplace productivity
* Manages and resolves issues using established issue tracking systems
* Certified Microsoft Professional with advanced understanding of software applications
* Applies knowledge of Local Area Networks to maintain and troubleshoot network issues

As the most advanced technical operations level within Takeda, you are in a non-supervisory position that calls for a profound understanding of technical processes within one's specialty. You typically hold a high school diploma complemented by extensive relevant working experience and any necessary certifications. You will be expected to anticipate trends, connect disparate information, and coordinate activities that may impact areas outside your immediate remit. In this capacity, you will handle complex assignments that necessitate a unique and specialized set of skills, leading not just the workflow but also ensuring the quality of technical processes. Your autonomous working style within established procedures empowers you to propose process enhancements and sometimes operate without predefined methods, guided by experience and organizational guidelines.
