About the role:

As a Google Analytics Developer within the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you willbe responsible fordesigning, implementing, andoptimizingenterprise-grade digital analytics solutions across web and marketing platforms. This role combines strong technical implementationexpertisewith business alignment to ensureaccurate, compliant, and actionable data collection.

You will lead the configuration and management of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and related data integration frameworks. You will work closely with business stakeholders, marketing teams, product owners, and IT to translate tracking requirements into scalable analytics architectures that support reporting, personalization, and performance optimization.

This role directly contributes to PDT’s ability to harness digital behavioral data effectively, improve campaign performance,optimizeuser journeys, and enhance data-driven decision-making in a compliant and secure environment.

This position will align to the External Experience chapter of the ICC and report to the PDT Delivery Lead for strategic direction and day-to-day management.

How you will contribute:

  • Design, implement, andmaintainGoogle Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking architecture across weband Mobileproperties.

  • Configure and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers, tags, triggers, and variables.

  • Develop scalable event tracking frameworks aligned with business KPIs and marketingobjectives.

  • Translate business requirements into detailed tracking specifications and technical documentation.

  • Implement custom event tracking, enhanced eCommerce tracking, and cross-domain measurement.

  • Participation in agile ceremonies with squads and chapter teams

  • Supporting estimation, planning, backlog refinement

  • Ensuring analytics work aligns with release timelines

  • Ensureaccuratedata collection, validation, debugging, and quality assurance.

  • Integrate GA4 data with enterprise platforms such as CDP, CRM, and marketing automation systems.

  • Work with APIs to extract, transform, and load analytics data for reporting and visualization.

  • Collaborate with developers to implement data layer standards and best practices.

  • Build dashboards and performance reports using tools such as Looker Studio,BigQueryor other BI platforms.

  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA where applicable, cookie consent frameworks).

  • Support A/B testing and experimentation tracking.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and tracking issues.

  • Maintain documentation of tagging architecture,implementationlogic, and governance processes.

  • Stay updated on GoogleAnalyticsecosystem changes and industry best practices.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or relatedfieldrequired.

  • 5+years of experience in digital analytics implementation and tracking.

  • Hands-onexpertisewith:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Experience partnering with engineering (front-end/back-end) to implementdataLayerand tracking requirements.

  • Pixels andCAPIImplementation

  • Strong understanding ofevent-based tracking,parameters, user properties, conversions, cross-domain tracking,andconsent mode.

  • Strong Understandingofnaming conventions, versioning, environments (dev/QA/prod), release process, rollback.

  • Strong Understanding on GTM Preview, GA4DebugView, ChromeDevTools, Tag Assistant.

  • Ability to independently manage and resolve all incomingAnalyticsrequests, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and coordinate withthevendors totroubleshoot and address issues.

  • Experience working with JavaScriptand Htmlfortag implementation and debugging.

  • Strongexpertisein GA4 reporting, monitoring, and performance analysis.

  • Knowledge of APIs and data integration techniques.

  • Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals).

  • Experience working within Agile environments.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical tracking solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Demonstrate ability to interpret and work with data (e.g., dashboards, reports, data quality concepts) and understanding of AI/ML fundamentals to adapt to emerging technology trends,identifyopportunities for intelligent automation/insights and make data-informed decisions.

  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred requirements:

  • Google Analytics certification (GA4).

  • Experience integrating analytics data with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or CDP platforms.

  • Familiarity with Looker Studio,BigQuery, or other cloud data warehouses.

  • Experience with consent management platforms and privacy compliance frameworks.

  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, pharma).

  • Understanding ofmarketing automation and customer journey orchestration.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD deployment processes.
