We are currently seeking a Digital Health Head (m/f/d) to be based in our country organization in Berlin.
OBJECTIVES
The Digital Health Head drives LOC digital health agenda and implementations of 3D1 (Dx, Digital health, Data& Intelligence) solutions. Oversees LOC Value-Based Pricing (VBP) capability and local strategic partnerships, and drives a continuous review cycle of existing DH products. He/she works with other Local Organizations (LOC), the region, and the global team to leverage resources and scale beyond Germany.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
- Defines local VBP & Digital Health priorities and drives acceleration of digital health capabilities, aligned with region priorities, and with the global team towards Takeda’s corporate Digital Health vision
- Tests, implements, and executes scalable Digital Health initiatives and leverages resources jointly with the global team, on and beyond Takeda’s enterprise platform and with existing or new partnerships
- Drive local partnerships towards reuse to the region and global teams. Co-creates and scales 3D solutions and supports Takeda’s digital health community with capability building and best practice sharing
- Scope of application goals, requirements, stakeholders, resources, together with the teams in our organization, to serve their needs
- Participate in the digital council to drive innovation, implement the VBP strategy, and share insights
Leadership
- Manages local digital health & VBP initiatives and drive cross-functional teams towards collaborating successfully on Digital Health initiatives
- Takes ownership over Digital Health technology and thought leadership in Germany and beyond
Decision-making and Autonomy
- Responsible for LOC delivery of digital health solutions and platforms, ensuring sustainability/value capture in alignment with Takeda framework.
Interaction
- Aligns local digital patient solutions with Takeda’s platform priorities
- In charge of cross-functional alignment, business cases, and implementation
- Supports the Takeda’s digital health community with co-creation, scaling, and best practice sharing
- Acts as a single point of contact for digital health projects, ensuring local X-functional alignment and resource prioritization
- Strengthens Takeda's positioning in the local healthcare ecosystem to be the leader in VBP and digital health innovation, interacting with technology providers, innovators, startups, and others
Innovation
- Development of a strategic IPC (Integrated Personalize Care) approach, promoting early diagnostics, improving patient outcomes, and defining LOC priorities aligned with business needs and patient needs
EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
- Min. 8-year experience in HealthCare and technology roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, top-tier consulting, or startups
- Exceptional understanding of the healthcare environment, future trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an innovative and forward-looking mindset
- Ability to prioritise a wide variety of tasks and requests and work with a complex set of stakeholders
- Ability to translate technology and tools to a non-technical audience and good communication skills
- Expertise related to digital health solutions, health data and digital innovation in pharma
- Demonstrated excellence in building long-lasting ecosystem partnerships with healthcare organizations, startups, technology providers, insurance companies, and more
- Strong Design Thinking capabilities and a bias towards action
- Fluent in English and German
