Job Description
About the role:
As the Supply Planner, Biologics you will be accountable for the Finished Drug Product planning and allocation and distribution of commercial and clinical products from manufacturing sites to the regions/countries, working with the E2E Supply Chain Planner. This can include ensuring supply & customer service levels, optimized inventory strategy, internal and external site management, input to and agreement on the Master Production Schedule and all other related activities to ensure GxP and regulatory compliant DP/ Finished Drug Product are available at the appropriate sites. This enables Takeda to meet the requirements of the markets in time.
You will participate in / lead Supply Chain Improvement Projects following the Products', OpU's and Takeda's goals. You will report into the End to End Supply Chain Lead.
How you will contribute:
- Supply plan and generate Finished Drug Product schedules and batch allocations for commercial and clinical Biologics products, aligning and challenging the associated DP / DS plans with the Master Planner
- Align and collaborate where needed with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Demand Planners on FDP forecast vs. supply plans
- Contribute to and complete the MPS (Master Production Schedule)
- Support in defining inventory and replenishment strategy, maintain inventory at target across the distribution network, and find and address inventory write-offs
- Maintain planning parameters in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Advanced Planning Systems (APS) to guarantee accurate monthly planning and allocation results
- Create purchase orders in the relevant ERP system and ensure the spend management and P2P processes are followed
- Ensure inventory accuracy in the ERP and perform SOX compliant inventory reconciliation
- Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing sites at all stages in the supply chain, quality, regulatory and demand/S&OP planners to resolve issues
- Identify corrective actions and follow-up on implementation of actions
- Open and Maintain WLs/SDNs
- Align with manufacturing on capacity usage and provide input for budget/forecast cycles
- Help achieve Supply Chain Goals (KPI) and OpU targets including creation and updating of any required reporting
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- University Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, industrial engineering, business informatics or similar
- Min. 3 years experience in supply chain or production planning or related fields employing multi-product, multiechelon batch production planning
- Experience using supply chain/advanced planning systems, ERP systems (SAP, C3ME or others)
- Experience with Excel and other MS Office apps (PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote), Data Reporting tools (Qlik, Power BI)
- Fluent in English

$111,800.00 - $175,670.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
