THE OPPORTUNTY

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Operations Specialist to manage complex payroll processes while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role will focus on enhancing and automating payroll operations, with a strong emphasis on audits, compliance, simplification, and standardization, all while keeping employee experience at the forefront. You will also leverage your expertise in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI to optimize payroll systems.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, and bonuses.
• Account for, distribute, and prepare taxes and deductions.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management or legislative obligations.
• Ensure payments comply with collective bargaining agreements, legislation, or other regulatory instruments.
• Prepare and distribute pay information to employees.
• Answer questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters.
• Lead and mentor a team in complex payroll operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement automation solutions.
• Collaborate with AI and automation teams to enhance payroll systems and processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in advanced tax preparation and complex payroll tax tasks.
• Proficient in managing payroll systems and advising on best practices.
• Advanced reporting, auditing, and multitasking capabilities in high complexity environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide guidance on precision management.
• Experience in multi-state payroll operations and adapting to changing labor and tax laws.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and improve team performance.
• Exposure to RPA and AI technologies with a focus on simplifying and automating processes.

Salary: As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3 850 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
