About the role
Leads U.S. launch and dermatology product communications for a high‑priority, late‑stage pipeline program, focused on psoriasis—an exciting and highly competitive disease area impacting more than 7.5 million patients in the U.S. alone.
This is a hybrid position requiring working onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts two (2) days each week/eight (8) days each month at minimum.
How you will contribute
Lead all launch and subsequent external and internal product communication strategies for the U.S. dermatology portfolio in a critical, highly competitive market.
Develop and execute milestone‑specific product communication plans, including message development, congress communications, media relations strategy, and digital/social tactics.
Partner closely with the U.S. Business Unit, U.S. Dermatology Franchise, Patient Advocacy, Global Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations, and Global Communications teams to ensure consistent dermatology narratives and communication strategies.
Anticipate and prepare for potential product‑related issues; direct U.S. issues and crisis management for the dermatology franchise.
Play an integral leadership role on the U.S. Dermatology Franchise Team, representing the product communications function and providing strategy and counsel for commercial and other functional leaders.
Develop U.S. disease awareness programs, including coordination around World Psoriasis Day.
Advise on communications strategies for major U.S. congresses and psoriasis medical meetings where data may be presented, liaising with R&D, Medical Communications, and Investor Relations teams as appropriate.
Coordinate with relevant divisional employee communication teams to deliver impactful internal communications relating to program advances and major brand and/or pipeline milestones.
Manage public relations agency partners and oversee the U.S. dermatology communications budget.
Minimum requirements / qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a health communications–related field
10+ years of experience in a pharma/biotech company and/or healthcare communications agency with a comprehensive understanding of the biopharma industry
At least 5 years of experience in product and/or pipeline communications, preferably in psoriasis, dermatology, and/or inflammation
Extensive product launch experience in high‑visibility, high‑stakes programs
U.S. and/or regional‑level communications experience preferred, with a proven track record delivering communications initiatives, programs, or events
Travel may be required (10%)

$177,000.00 - $278,080.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
