Job Description

About the role:

The Product/Brand Marketing, Senior Manager oversees the lifecycle of a product or product line, from gathering user requirements to developing strategies that maximize product appeal. You will contribute to Takeda's mission by ensuring that products meet market demands and achieve business objectives. You will report to the Head of Professional Engagements and Partnerships

How you will contribute:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Key Opinion Leader strategies, ensuring alignment with brand priorities
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee budget for assigned program
  • Develop and navigate promotional assets through medical, legal, and regulatory review
  • Collaborate with the Omni Channel Marketing team to integrate HCP, Consumer, and Key Opinion Leader strategies
  • Participate in the Brand Planning process and contribute to brand strategy development
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, recommending areas for optimization * Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Healthcare related experience
  • At least 6 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing or related function
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence coworkers toward common goals, foster collaboration, and enable teamwork; Ability to set priorities, develop roles and responsibilities, and manage agencies/cross functional partners.
  • Established leadership traits with an ability to mentor junior team members, collaborate effectively, and positively influence decisions
  • Deep understanding of the brand/franchise, the pharmaceutical industry, and how to effectively engage consumers; ability to make sound business decisions by having a strong understanding about business, finance and risks/benefits of decisions
  • Extensive experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies; ability to clearly and succinctly communicate (verbally/written) in a persuasive and appropriate manner at the executive level
  • Capable of leveraging data and analytics to distill insights and drive data-based decision making
  • This role will require a true entrepreneurial mindset as we build this important area of focus.

Preferred:

  • MBA
  • Experience in marketing positions at a commercial pharmaceutical organization.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel to internal and external meetings including overnights and weekends will be required, estimated up to 20% travel.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$137,000.00 - $215,270.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
