Job Description
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Drive digital partnership strategy by identifying, evaluating, and structuring opportunities that align with Takeda China’s digital innovation and business goals.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across the healthcare ecosystem—including payors, providers, startups, and academic institutions—to build trust and advance collaborative initiatives.
- Develop strategic materials such as partnership proposals, investment assessments, and ecosystem maps to support executive decision-making and governance processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (e.g., R&D, marketing, development, global innovation) to ensure alignment and execution of partnership objectives.
- Plan and facilitate co-creation sessions and strategic workshops with internal and external partners, including agenda setting, method selection, and stakeholder preparation.
- Capture and synthesize workshop outcomes, translating insights into actionable strategies and ensuring follow-through across relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Oversee operational execution of partnership initiatives, including CRM tracking, documentation, and communication across the full lifecycle—from sourcing to scaling.
- Collaborate with Takeda Spark on discovery projects and New Product Development to ensure Target Digital Product Profile success through partnerships.
- Bridge the China digital innovation ecosystem with global teams including Digital Health, Digital Product Excellence, and Digital Business Development.
DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS :
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
- Proficiency with CRM tools, digital health tracking platforms, and partnership management systems to monitor and coordinate Takeda’s digital partner network in China.
- Experience preparing high-impact strategic materials, including briefing decks, investment assessments, and ecosystem maps, using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization software.
- Familiarity with digital health technologies, emerging business models, and innovation trends in China’s healthcare ecosystem, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Background working in or with startups, design thinking methodologies, patient journey mapping.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Public Health, Digital Innovation, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in investing, consulting, digital health, strategic partnerships, or innovation roles—preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in identifying, structuring, and managing strategic partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups (e.g., payors, providers, startups, academic institutions).
- Familiarity with China’s healthcare landscape and digital health ecosystem is strongly preferred.
- Experience working as a startup founder or in a leadership position viewed favorably.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights and emerging technologies into actionable partnership strategies.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to influence internal and external stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Experience preparing high-impact materials such as investment assessments, briefing decks, and partnership proposals for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to lead and facilitate strategic workshops and co-development sessions with internal and external partners.
- High-level proficiency in Chinese and professional literacy in English.
- Understanding of agile environments and co-development processes is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare innovation, digital product strategy, or business development is highly desirable.
