Job Description
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Design UI/UX for digital products and services to enhance information and usability
- Conduct user research and analyze findings to inform design proposals
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and data visualizations
- Leverage and ensure use of Takeda’s global design system - Toro. Localize for China market to drive adoption.
- Collaborate with various departments (development, marketing, etc.) to optimize products
- Plan and implement usability tests, and propose improvements
- Design Operations, planning and logistics for an internal design capability.
- Workshop and design sprint preparation and facilitation supports (identifying any research requirements, agenda planning, selecting appropriate methods, readying participants)
- Capturing workshop output and sharing it back to participants and other stakeholders.
DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS :
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
- Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe products
- Experience with Miro or other collaboration platforms
- Experience with motion graphic and photography, a plus
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- 3+ years of experience leading UI/UX design efforts using human-centered design techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience within the design field.
- Experience in creating designs from wireframes to prototypes.
- Strong knowledge and application of user-centered design principles.
- Experience in implementing design systems and style guides.
- Experience or understanding of agile environments.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
- Experience in graphic design.
- High-level proficiency in Chinese and literacy in English.
- Experience planning and facilitating design workshops and sprints is a plus.
- Design experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Experience in video editing is a plus.
- Required digital portfolio for interview process.
