The Opportunity
The Business Analyst will be a core member of the DEV team, working closely with the Product Owner and developers to ensure the delivery of high‑quality analytics products. This role bridges business needs and technical capabilities, supporting initiatives, shaping user stories, guiding development, and enabling smooth delivery cycles.
The BA will act as the point of connection between the business, the PO, and the technical team, ensuring clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement across all solutions (Power BI, Qlik, Power Apps, and data pipelines).
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Product Owner to support existing initiatives, manage the backlog, and maintain clear priorities.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, refinement sessions, and sprint planning activities.
- Translate business needs into well‑structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with developers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Track project progress, highlight risks, and help resolve roadblocks in coordination with the PO.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Meet with business stakeholders to understand processes, problems, and needs.
- Communicate insights and propose solutions clearly and effectively.
- Support change management by helping stakeholders adopt new tools and features.
- Document processes, mock-ups, workflows, and system behaviors.
Product Quality & Maintenance
- Validate deliverables against requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Help maintain and update existing dashboards, apps, and data structures when required.
- Ensure solutions are reliable, accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with governance standards.
Data, Reporting & Solution Support
- Collaborate on data preparation, modeling, and integration needed to support analytics.
- Monitor and support ongoing maintenance of Power BI, Qlik, and Power Apps solutions.
- Ensure documentation is updated and accessible (technical specs, user guides, data dictionaries).
Required Qualifications
Must‑Have
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in technology, analytics, or product environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- Experience in a Lean/Agile development environment
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Strong end-to-end BA skills: gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to convert business problems into clear technical requirements and user stories.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Qlik, or other BI tools.
- Experience with data modeling, SQL, or ETL concepts.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Power Apps or low‑code/no‑code platforms.
- Exposure to data governance or enterprise data structures.
- Experience supporting global teams or cross‑functional initiatives.
