About the role:

  • Deliver reliable, timely, and defensible eDiscovery and litigation support services for Legal, Compliance, and related business stakeholders.
  • Support the full eDiscovery lifecycle, including legal hold, data identification, preservation, collection, processing, review support, production, and disposition.
  • Partner with Legal Business Partners, outside counsel, records and information management, DD&T stakeholders, peers, and service providers to execute casework and operational deliverables.
  • Collect and manage custodial and non-custodial data from enterprise applications, archives, collaboration platforms, file shares, cloud repositories, and other relevant data sources.
  • Administer, support, and continuously improve eDiscovery platforms and related technologies, including Exterro, Relativity, Microsoft Purview, and other preservation, collection, processing, and review tools.
  • Use scripting and automation, such as PowerShell, Python, or workflow automation tools, to reduce manual effort, improve repeatability, enhance reporting, and accelerate routine eDiscovery tasks.
  • Maintain current, accurate, and audit-ready documentation for collection procedures, operational playbooks, process controls, and technology support activities.
  • Monitor technology trends, regulatory expectations, and market capabilities to identify opportunities to modernize Legal and eDiscovery operations.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, decisions, and status clearly and proactively while escalating issues when appropriate.

How you will contribute

  • Execute and document defensible workflows for the collection, preservation, processing, transfer, loading, review support, and production of electronically stored information as requested by Legal.
  • Ensure data subject to legal hold is appropriately preserved across relevant enterprise systems, collaboration platforms, cloud repositories, and archived data sources.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Records and Information Management when legal holds are released to support defensible disposition of data not subject to other retention or preservation obligations.
  • Configure, operate, and support eDiscovery and information governance tools, including Exterro, Relativity, Microsoft Purview, and related collection, review, analytics, reporting, and data transfer capabilities.
  • Develop scripts, queries, and automation routines to streamline repetitive tasks, validate data, generate reports, reconcile collections, and improve quality control across the eDiscovery lifecycle.
  • Partner with Legal Operations, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Records and Information Management, and application teams to identify data sources, resolve technical issues, and define scalable support models.
  • Provide functional and technical support, training, and guidance to attorneys, paralegals, eDiscovery analysts, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Analyze operational trends, recurring issues, service demand, and stakeholder feedback to recommend process improvements and technology enhancements.

What you bring to Takeda

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, digital forensics, legal technology, data governance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience across eDiscovery, legal technology, information governance, IT operations, digital forensics, cloud platforms, or enterprise application support.
  • Hands-on knowledge of eDiscovery platforms and workflows, including Exterro, Relativity, Microsoft Purview, legal hold administration, data preservation, collection, processing, review support, and production.
  • Working knowledge of scripting or automation languages such as PowerShell, Python, SQL, or similar tools to automate tasks, perform data validation, generate reports, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud repositories, collaboration platforms, enterprise archives, identity and access concepts, and defensible data handling practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and quality control skills with the ability to translate legal and business requirements into repeatable technical processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to legal, business, vendor, and IT stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to changing requirements, and operate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and commitment to continuous improvement, service quality, and team effectiveness.

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience supporting eDiscovery, information governance, records management, or legal technology operations in a regulated life sciences or biopharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience developing dashboards, operational metrics, or reporting that improves visibility into legal hold, collection, processing, production, service performance, or compliance activities.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted review, technology-assisted review, analytics, data mapping, defensible deletion, and emerging capabilities within modern eDiscovery platforms.

Work Location: Mexico City – Santa Fe.

Hybrid model with a minimum in-office requirement of at least 10 (ten) days per month.
