Job Description
We are seeking a People Insights Analyst to support the development and delivery of people analytics capabilities at Takeda. This role sits at the intersection of data analysis, people analytics, and capability development, focusing on transforming complex HR and business data into actionable insights, scalable analytical solutions, and data-driven capabilities.
This position is embedded within Takeda's People Analytics and Capabilities team and requires deep engagement with a broad range of HR and business use cases, including skills intelligence, employee listening, talent analytics, and strategic workforce insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical skills with a passion for building sustainable capabilities that help organizations make better workforce and talent decisions.
How You Will Contribute
Design and execute analyses across a range of people analytics domains, including employee listening, recruiting, workforce forecasting, and skills intelligence.
Collaborate with data engineering and technical teams to support the design and evolution of people data architecture, including capabilities that enable skills-based workforce insights and decision-making.
Help identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to accelerate analysis, reporting, and insight generation across People Analytics workflows.
Support the development of intelligent reporting solutions that streamline recurring processes and improve the delivery of workforce insights to stakeholders.
Build and maintain workforce forecasts and contribute to scenario modeling that supports strategic workforce and business planning.
Ensure data quality, governance, consistency, and appropriate handling of sensitive workforce information.
Translate analytical findings into clear business narratives, recommendations, and executive-ready presentations.
Communicate analytical insights, project progress, and capability development updates to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and structured manner.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field (e.g., analytics, economics, data science, statistics, HR analytics) or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in analytics, data science, people analytics, workforce analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating business questions into data-driven solutions.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, structured datasets.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including Python or R.
Experience building dashboards, analytical models, reporting solutions, or data products that are used by business stakeholders.
Understanding of data engineering concepts and experience working with multiple connected data sources.
Experience partnering with technical teams, data engineers, or product teams to support analytics capability development.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Interest in leveraging AI-enabled approaches to enhance analytical workflows, reporting processes, and insight generation.
Exposure to forecasting, employee listening, skills analytics, talent analytics, or organizational effectiveness concepts is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Proficiency communicating in English is required.
