Purpose of the role

We seek a creative and driven UX/UI Designer to shape user experiences across various product brand websites and digital health applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including service designers, developers, and business stakeholders—while actively contributing to the evolution of our design system. Your work will drive intuitive, visually appealing designs that ensure consistency and efficiency across Takeda digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centric digital health solutions, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to ensure seamless functionality and engagement.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to analyze user feedback, refine designs, and improve digital product experiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals, technical feasibility, and brand guidelines.

• Partner with service designers, developers, and external design agencies to deliver high-quality, user-focused design solutions.

• Utilize tools such as AI, Figma, and the Takeda Design System effectively in the design process.

• Develop design artifacts such as user journeys, concept storyboards, and prototypes to support XD Labs initiatives, events, and workshops.

• Ensure adherence to the Takeda Design System, actively contributing to its development and adoption.

• Evaluate product builds to ensure design quality and optimize usability.

• Maintain brand consistency and efficiency across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design for websites and digital products.

• 1-3 years of experience working with organizational design systems.

• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, and emerging UX/UI AI technologies.

• Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and iterative design process.

• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork,

• Familiarity with service design methodologies and design thinking principles.

• Experience balancing multiple projects and timelines independently.

• Advanced English language level.
