About the role:
As a leading member oftheCorporateEHSTeam, this roledrivesthedevelopment and implementation of Takeda’s EHS Management System.This role works across the enterprise todrive the continuous improvement of our EHS Management system,bringingclarity and simplificationinto process compliancewhilesimplifying andmaintainingTakeda’s ISO accreditations across theenterprise. The purpose of theEHS Management SystemsLead is to:
ServeasTakeda’ssubjectmatterexpertfor corporate EHS management systems,overseeingalignmentwith ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards andinternalrequirements.
Lead and coordinate thedevelopment, deployment, andongoingmaintenanceof corporate EHS management systemdocuments,encompassingpolicies, standards, andoperatingprocedures.
Drivestrategicmanagement system projects and leadcontinuousimprovementinitiativestoensuretheeffectiveness,efficiency, andforwardevolutionof EHSprograms.
LeverageEHS management system audits,toproactivelyidentifyinggapsandinformstrategicdirectionfor Management System Compliance andevolutionacrossTakeda’soperations.
Drive EHS Management SystemdevelopmentthatdirectlysupportsTakeda’sEHS performance and Riskreductionobjectives
How you will contribute:
Develop and manage operating mechanisms for effective EHS Management System implementation, execution, and monitoring using a risk-based, continuous improvement approach.
Structure and simplify EHS management systems and technical standards, embedding clear roles, ownership, and accountability.
Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholdersandregulatory agencies to benchmark and elevate EHS management capability.
Lead management system projects and continual improvement, anchored by the monitoring of metrics such aspSIF/SIF incidents, audit nonconformances, and environmental data.
Develop and deliverManagement Systemtraining, solutions, templates, and guidance supporting global site compliance with Takeda’s requirements.
Monitor regulatory, technology, and proactively informing system design and the long-term EHS transformation roadmap.
Prepare and deliver annual EHS Management Reviews, synthesizingdataandidentifyingopportunities for continual improvement.
Lead EHS-related change management, including digital and compliance transformations, and adoption of best practices.
What you bring to Takeda:
Essential:
Degree in engineering,life sciencesorsimilarfield;10+yearsofexperienceinPharmaceutical,Biopharmaceutical, orsimilarmanufacturingindustry;
Minimum 5+yearsexperienceorequivalentformaltraining onEHS Management Systemdevelopmentand deploymentatcorporatelevelinmultinationalManufacturingorganisations.
Experiencecollaboratingwith cross-functionalteams,regulatoryagenciesandvendors
Experience in program management anddemonstratedapplicationof health andsafetypractices.
ExpertiseinISO14000 and 45000,EHS riskmanagementanddevelopmentofManagement Systems,Structuresand Standards.
