Job Description

Job Purpose

The Inventory and Logistics III role focuses on managing and optimizing various aspects of the supply chain process. This position supports business goals through effective planning, inventory management, and logistics strategies, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of Takeda's operations.

How will you contribute:

  • Manage and optimize supply chain processes across multiple sub-families
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics service center operations
  • Plan and organize transportation routes and cargo planning
  • Assist in procurement processes and follow established guidelines
  • Perform basic data analysis and support process improvement tasks
  • Communicate effectively using scripted or prepared statements
  • Operate basic functions within SAP Applications

At this level you will utilize and expand your working knowledge and skills. This role requires broadened technical abilities to perform a diverse set of activities, working within established procedures under general supervision. A high school diploma and some relevant working experience, along with any necessary certifications, will prepare you for this role. You will be responsible for evaluating and selecting solutions, with errors potentially causing moderate impact but being correctable. Your interactions will extend beyond your department, contributing to a collaborative work environment.​
