About the Role

As a Utilities & Facilities Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and compliant operation of all utility and facility systems at our Grange Castle site. You’ll help maintain a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment that supports manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.

How You Will Contribute

  • Support and oversee utilities and facilities systems such as steam generation, compressed air, process gases, refrigeration systems (HTF), BMS, chilled water, carbon abatement, and sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with cGMP, EHS, and Takeda standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical input for capital projects related to utilities and facilities.
  • Support deviation investigations, CAPAs, and change controls for utilities and facilities systems.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed according to plan and documented in Takeda’s CMMS.
  • Contribute to the site’s Energy Management Program and ISO 50001:2018 certification.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all operations and ensure compliance with environmental and energy standards.

What You Bring to Takeda

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical or similar) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive, positive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
