About the Role
At Takeda, we are committed to bringing life-transforming therapies to patients. As a Market Access Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and securing sustainable access for Takeda’s portfolio in Finland.
Working closely with the Market Access Lead, cross-functional teams, Nordic and international colleagues, and a wide range of external stakeholders, you will drive patient access strategies, pricing and reimbursement activities and healthcare ecosystem shaping initiatives across a complex and evolving healthcare environment. You will contribute both strategically and operationally, helping to ensure timely patient access to innovative medicines while influencing decisions that impact healthcare stakeholders, patients, and Takeda’s business.
This role is ideal for an experienced patient access, medical affairs or healthcare affairs professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
How You Will Contribute
External Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain trusted relationships with HTA authorities, healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.
Act as a credible Takeda representative in external market access and reimbursement forums.
Lead stakeholder collaboration for healthcare ecosystem shaping where relevant for patient access.
Communicate the value of Takeda’s therapies to external stakeholders in a compliant and patient-focused manner.
Market Access Strategy, Pricing and Reimbursement
Shape and adapt market access strategies for pipeline and in-line products within designated therapeutic areas or product portfolios.
Lead complex HTA submissions, pricing applications, reimbursement processes, and selected negotiations with relevant authorities and payers.
Adapt evidence-based value propositions that support access, pricing, and reimbursement decisions.
Monitor policy, regulatory, and market developments and proactively identify risks and opportunities impacting patient access.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead cross-functional alignment across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Public Affairs, and regional and global Market Access teams.
Provide strategic market access input into launch preparation, lifecycle management, and business planning activities.
Influence Nordic market access initiatives and contribute to the development and sharing of best practices across the region.
Evidence Generation and Business Insights
Use health economics, outcomes research, real-world evidence, and market insights to strengthen access strategies and value propositions.
Leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to support decision-making and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance market access processes, operational efficiency, and ways of working.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure all market access, pricing, and reimbursement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and Takeda policies.
Maintain high standards of documentation, governance, and data integrity.
What You Bring to Takeda
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, Business, Public Health, or a related field.
5–8+ years of experience in market access, healthcare affairs, medical affairs or a related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Understanding of the Finnish healthcare system, reimbursement environment, and payer landscape.
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and lead complex projects across cross-functional teams without direct people management responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to drive impactful external collaborations with a wide range of healthcare stakeholders
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and evidence into actionable recommendations.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and navigate complex business environments.
Fluency in Finnish and English
