Job Title: Senior Insight Analyst
Location: Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh city
About the role:
The Senior Insight Analyst is responsible for delivering deep insights into brands, therapeutic areas, and market dynamics through market research, advanced analytics, AI applications, and data visualization. This role partners closely with internal and regional cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable business recommendations that support Vietnam’s strategic vision and competitive advantage.
How you will contribute:
Data Insights & Analysis
Lead market research and competitor analysis to provide actionable recommendations for brand and product strategies.
Design and maintain real-time dashboards to track sales performance and business KPIs.
Manage and optimize databases to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility.
Build organizational capability in analytics, BI tools, and data visualization.
Develop and implement advanced analytical models to address complex business challenges.
Data Solution Development & Continuous Improvement
Design, implement, and maintain self-service data platforms for ad-hoc access to large datasets, enabling commercial teams to access and utilize data effectively.
Partner with the technical team to support the development and maintenance of local data systems, ensuring alignment with regional database structures and standards.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality, operational efficiency, and analytical effectiveness.
Keep abreast of the latest analytics tools, AI applications, technologies, and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary contact for DD&T and I&A, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment with regional and global strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with distributors, market research agencies
Collaborate across functions to align initiatives, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and maximize business impact.
What you bring to Takeda:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, IT, business administration, finance, or related fields; Pharm.D preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in market research, data analytics, and visualization.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a strong advantage.
Strong proficiency in database management, BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python…) and AI/ML applications.
Strong business acumen, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
