Are you ready for a next step in your career? Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation driven company that will empower you to shine? Join us as a Brand & Customer Manager, Gastro-enterology (GI) in our Dutch affiliate.

We are looking for a marketing professional who has experience within healthcare, knows the value of customer and patient insights and is keen to deliver effective campaigns. You have understood that marketing nowadays is not about sitting behind a desk filling in templates and creating brochures. You realize that digital engagement is an essential part of a successful strategy and not a stand-alone process. Marketing for you is about understanding the market, the needs of patients and healthcare professionals and it's about working with your colleagues in a cross functional business team. You want to make a difference for patients.

In the GI business team you will be working closely with the other brand & customer manager, customer engagement lead and key account managers to drive our business. Furthermore you will be working cross functionally with market access, medical affairs, business intelligence, supply chain, finance and many other colleagues. Not only in the Netherlands but also within our international organization.

What is expected from you in this role?

  • Develop innovative growth strategies - and activation of the tactics - of our GI business group together with your colleagues.

  • Make sure that our team, our direct colleagues and senior management is aligned on our business units strategic choices and tactics.

  • Work with the other brand & customer manager in leading the cross functional business team

  • Pro-actively monitor and improve the impact of our strategy and tactics

  • Campaign management which at Takeda is centered around multi channel engagement involving owning your own projects from start to finish

  • Manage key relationships within the company to be successful in your role

  • Support the forecasting and planning processes by providing market, customer and patient insights from several sources.

What is your background to fill this role?

  • At least 3 years of marketing experience in a similar commercial role in pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotech industry or a healthcare related industry

  • A bachelor or masters degree in a scientific or commercial discipline. (it's important for you to realize that you will be working in a commercial role in a scientific healthcare market)

  • Proven experience in digital activation of marketing strategies

  • Fluent Dutch oral and written communication skills and business acumen. Fluent English is also needed to communicate with our international colleagues.

  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence without authority

  • Knowledge of marketing within the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a must-have. We are definitely open to marketing professionals who are willing to take their experience into a new domain
