Job Description
Job Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Türkiye acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees,
driving people strategies that enable organizational success and cultural alignment with Takeda’s values.
The role partners closely with leaders to deliver workforce planning, talent development, and organizational
effectiveness initiatives, while ensuring full compliance with local labor regulations. In addition to strategic
HR partnering, the HRBP supports operational responsibilities, including HR processes, employee
relations, and financial planning cycles (e.g., MRP, MYC), to ensure seamless execution of people and
business priorities.
Role Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Strategic HR Partnering
• Partner with functional and cross-functional leaders to support organizational transformation,
workforce planning, and execution of people strategies aligned with Takeda’s global and local
goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and team dynamics.
• Drive talent review, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives across functions.
• Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), embedding inclusive practices in people strategies
and workplace culture.
• Support business leaders with change management, communication, and leadership coaching in
line with Takeda leadership behaviors.
Talent, Culture & Development
• Lead and implement HR initiatives including performance management, employee engagement,
and cultural change programs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and global COEIs to deliver
localized, high-impact HR programs.
• Support employee development through targeted learning initiatives, internal mobility, and career
growth strategies.
• Represent HR in interviews, panel assessments, or organizational reviews where applicable.
Operational HR & Compliance
• Provide hands-on support in day-to-day HR operations (e.g., onboarding, contracts, payroll inputs, benefits, HRIS data integrity).
• Assist with operational financial responsibilities such as budgeting, workforce planning, and financial forecasting processes (e.g., MRP, MYC) in alignment with business and HR planning cycles.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Türkiye’s labor laws and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Partner with People Solutions and the People Advisory Group to deliver seamless HR services and processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely use of company systems (e.g., Concur, Dakika, ,Bloom), while fostering process discipline across teams.
• Monitor and analyze people data — including engagement, retention, turnover, and workforce trends — to inform local strategies.
• Use KPIs and HR analytics to measure impact, optimize HR operations, and support ongoing transformation.
• Champion process agility and continuous improvement in HR practices and systems.
Projects & Collaboration
• Lead or contribute to global and regional HR projects, organizational initiatives, and transformation efforts with strong project coordination skills.
• Benchmark and contextualize global best practices to enhance local HR strategies.
• Collaborate closely with COEIs, regional HR teams, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment, knowledge sharing, and scalability.
Role Mandatory Responsibilities
• Adhere to Takeda’s Information Security and Technology Use policies.
• Serve as a Quality Ambassador by promptly reporting any product-related concerns to the Quality
team.
• Uphold integrity and ethical conduct in alignment with Takeda’s values (Takeda-ism).
• Complete all mandatory trainings and ensure team compliance with relevant policies and
procedures.
• Lead by example in the accurate and timely use of company systems (e.g., Concur, Dakika,
Bloom), fostering process discipline across the team.
• Proactively raise compliance or ethical concerns through appropriate Takeda reporting channels
Role required Qualifications & Capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related
discipline.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in HRBP or generalist roles within multinational,
fast-paced, and dynamic environments.
• Proven experience across core HR processes including employee relations, organizational
development, total rewards, and learning.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish labor law and compliance requirements, with ability to apply them in
day-to-day HR practices.
• Fluency in Turkish and proficiency in English (written and verbal) required.
• Demonstrated project coordination, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., Workday, reporting tools); experience in
tech-enabled HR environments is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting HR financial planning cycles, including budgeting, workforce planning,
MRP, and MYC.
• Exposure to regional or global HR projects and ability to adapt global frameworks to local
business needs.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting, with ability to translate insights into actionable HR strategies.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
