About the Role

As theMedical Excellence and Governance Manager, your mission is to enhance the performance and strategic alignment of our Medical Affairs function. You will build innovative frameworks, develop omnichannel medical tactics, and enable successful product launches and scientific engagement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leaders, you will ensure that Takeda’s global expertise is executed at the highest level of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Medical Affairs Excellence

  • Develop & track KPIsto measure and optimize the impact of Medical Affairs activities across the organization.

  • Lead thedevelopment and utilization of Real-World Evidence (RWE)to address unmet medical needs and bolster medical strategies.

  • Drive tactical plans for impactfulscientific congresses, symposia, and advisory boards.

Launch Preparedness & Strategic Support

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to orchestratelaunch readiness efforts, including planning for stakeholder engagement and scientific communication.

  • Monitor performance post-launchand identify optimization opportunities.

Capability Building

  • Identify and address skills gapsin Medical Affairs teams, delivering continuous learning initiatives to maintain advanced knowledge and tools.

  • Foster a culture of professionaldevelopment and performance excellence.

Omnichannel Innovation & Digital Tactics

  • Implement anomnichannel engagement strategy, leveraging digital platforms to maximize healthcare professional engagement.

  • Drive efficiency by integrating digital tools for tracking and reporting medical metrics (dashboards, CRM platforms, etc.).

Governance, Ethics, & Compliance

  • Partner with internal stakeholders todevelop SOPs and ensure regulatory alignment.

  • Oversee governance processes, ensuring compliance with internal and global ethical standards.

Knowledge Dissemination

  • Create systems forcapturing and sharing scientific and medical insightsacross the department and organization.

Qualifications

Educational & Professional Background

  • AUniversity Degree in Medicine or Pharmacy; a PhD is strongly preferred.

  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experiencein Medical Affairs or Clinical Development.

  • Demonstrated expertise inReal-World Evidence generation, launch readiness, and medical strategy execution.

Core Competencies

  • Strongstrategic thinking, scientific acumen, and business understanding.

  • Proven ability to leadcomplex projectsand partnerships in amatrixed structure.

  • Advanced skills indigital tools, CRM platforms, and omnichannel engagement.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication,fluent in English and Turkish.
