Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This person is responsible to increase the visibility and awareness of company’s pharmaceutical products through omnichannel engagement with healthcare professionals and to achieve business objectives of the company. You will be responsible for commercial selling, maintaining and documenting all sales activities for GI portfolio within the assigned geographic territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

•    To professionally enhance visibility and awareness of company products to the healthcare professionals and ensure aligning to Pharmaceutical Code of Conduct
•    Responsible to build strong business relationships with key customers, develop key opinion leader and maximize access of medicine to patients with key performance measured by sales volume/value as well as market share of designated products in assigned territory
•    Acquire and develop deep professional, industry, disease and product knowledge.
•    Aligning marketing’s tactical plans to drive brand value messages and interventions to meet/exceed customer unmet needs.
•    Execute territory sales strategy based on territory management plan to meet the target set
•    Prioritize pre-call planning for effective sales call and to meet daily sales call requirement.
•    Plan and execute sales activities to elevate healthcare professionals’ understanding and knowledge of Takeda’s products. 
•    Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports within deadline.
•    To obtain market insight including knowledge of competitor activities; able to identify Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity & Threat (SWOT) of the assigned territory
•    Contribute in sharing best practice and propose tactical actions (if applicable) during team meeting
•    Demonstrate business acumen through the ability in executing commercial activity plans in the assigned territories on targeted customers to achieve desired goals.
•    Active participation in company-sponsored meetings.
•    Constantly adhere to compliance guidelines.

QUALIFICATION / ATTRIBUTES

•    Must possess a degree of pharmacy or medical science or any science discipline.
•    At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
•    Self-motivated and results oriented.
•    Good interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Ability to work under pressure, meticulous and possess a sense of urgency.
•    Highly dependable and able to work independently.
•    Versatile, resilient and ability to stay positive in pressure working environment
•    Willing to travel within Malaysia.
