Job Description
As a US Medical Digital Engagement & Insights intern, you will support the team in navigating the enterprise-wide migration from Veeva CRM to Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. You’ll work on:
CRM Transition Strategy & Enablement:
Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to assess the impact of Veeva’s planned transition off the Salesforce platform by 2030.
Supporting the phased implementation of Salesforce CRM, ensuring alignment with Takeda’s future customer engagement models and minimizing disruption to medical workflows.
Collaborating with internal teams to document current-state Veeva CRM use cases and Content Engine implications and translate them into future-state Salesforce configurations.
Email Capability Exploration & Optimization:
Evaluating and recommending solutions for both home office–driven and MSL-triggered email communications.
Mapping out technical and operational requirements for compliant, scalable email deployment, ensuring topic tracking and analytics.
Identifying opportunities to streamline content delivery and improve HCP engagement through modular templates and compliant behavioral triggers.
Developing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and other key documentation for email creation, tagging, reporting, and dashboard pull-thru.

Expand understanding of Customer Experience of the Future (CXF) strategy and Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud capabilities.
Share knowledge and learnings with the US Medical Digital Engagement team to enhance strategic planning and perspective.
Foster cross-functional collaboration.
Build expertise in launching new capabilities by learning how to assess business needs and define solution architecture.
Job Requirements:
This position will be Hybrid (1-3 days/week in office) out of the Lexington, MA location
Must be pursuing a Masters or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related fields
Must have strong digital and data skill sets
Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
Internship Eligibility
Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026or later
The internship program is 10-12 weeksdepending on the two start dates (May 26th-August 14thor June 15th- August 21st)
The intern must be able to commit to one of thesetime frames
Able to work full time40 hoursa week during internship dates
Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
