Job Description
About the role:
The Ethics & Compliance Learning & Engagement Head, US Business Unit (USBU), is a director-level position dedicated to cultivating a culture of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization. Reporting to the Head of USBU Ethics & Compliance Operations, this role encompasses the design and delivery of comprehensive learning strategies and innovative training programs. The position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, driving curriculum development, leading communication initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and establishing key performance indicators to gauge program impact. This role is critical to ensure that USBU Ethics and Compliance (E&C) remains at the forefront of industry standards and continues to foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
How you will contribute:
Drive the design and implementation of the E&C learning strategy for USBU colleagues, including cadence or new and refresher training, deploying appropriate role based training, utilizing appropriate training deployment approaches (e.g. live, on line, microlearning, apps), and identifying opportunities to incorporate E&C training with other business training modules.
Lead the end-to-end research, design, delivery and refinement of innovative learning and communication programs aimed at achieving lasting behavioral change and positive employee experience. This includes evaluating whether and when to work with external vendors to optimize efficiency and increase value.
Learning & Development Infrastructure: Design and implement critical L&D program components including technology tools, insights/dashboards, on-boarding and role-based curricula, and continuous learning/development programs. Optimize the investments, leveraging internal resources or off-the-shelf alternatives and optimize investment when required.
Strategic Curriculum Development: Design and implement comprehensive learning programs aligned with E&C priorities and standards, leveraging engaging learning methodologies. Ensure the content is high quality, accessible, and tailored to meet the specific needs of the learner.
Develop and execute communication initiatives to strengthen E&C's identity and presence with stakeholders, ensuring E&C remains a trusted resource.
Implement change management and communication tools to effectively manage program enhancements and updates.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including leadership and internal subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring alignment on program objectives and project deliverables.
Drive E&C program initiatives through collaboration with other BU/BF. Represent USBU E&C on BU and Global learning initiatives. Facilitate best practice and asset sharing with other E&C teams.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning programs. Ensure continuous post-delivery improvement by leveraging data analytics and gathering stakeholder feedback.
Lead USBU E&C team meeting agenda and content creation, incorporating skill building topics and guest speakers.
Oversee and manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality deliverables within budget and timeline.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years in an L&D role
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience with laws, regulations and industry guidance that affect the pharmaceutical industry including, but not limited to, OIG and PhRMA guidelines, healthcare standard operating procedures, and anti-bribery laws.
Proficient in advanced learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Vyond, etc.
Experience managing learning/instructional design vendors and leading cross-functional projects.
Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or initiatives with competing priorities.
Ability to clearly communicate complex issues and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborate in mindset and approach to partner across E&C, Takeda, and with external partners to develop effective learning.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of learning.
Familiarity with iterative working methodologies such as design thinking, agile, and scrum preferred.
Learning agility, curiosity, proactivity, and motivation effective within a matrixed organization.
Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Lexington, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$174,500.00 - $274,230.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
