As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth in the U.S. and Europe, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is now hiring an Accounting Team Leader with a passion for digital solutions and helping patients.

This is a vital role within the TBS Finance Solutions function— consisting of dynamic teams within Takeda Business Solutions. Finance Solutions provides services in accounting policy & controls – fixed asset & capital accounting – accounting & reporting – intercompany accounting – travel & expense – treasury & cash management – product costing & inventory accounting – and invoice to cash.

As an Accounting Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team covering both process and people management.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:

  • Lead and execute key Finance Solutions transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee Accounting, Reporting, and Inventory operations, ensuring high-quality end-to-end delivery.
  • Drive performance through clear KPIs, continuous tracking, and measurable improvement.
  • Ensure accurate, timely month-end closing and reporting in full compliance with accounting standards and internal controls (RCM).
  • Strengthen and optimize processes in line with the harmonized operating model, embedding efficiency and standardization.
  • Accelerate automation across ERP, workflow, RPA, and AI to reduce manual effort and increase value-added activities.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Develop and mentor the team through structured upskilling, competency development, and regular feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance by leading by example.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in RtR / Audit
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance systems such as SAP, HFM, and BlackLine.
  • Proven leadership experience with strong focus on change management, communication, and team motivation.
  • Strong interest or experience in automation and digital solutions (ERP, workflow tools, robotics, AI).
  • Improvement-oriented mindset with exposure to Lean / Kaizen methodologies.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo while building trustful stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent business partnering skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Academic background preferably in finance/ accounting / economics (MBA, CIMA or ACCA would be the advantage).
  • Lean/Six Sigma, RPA experience.

Base Salary Range:

zł163,400.00 - zł224,730.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
