Takeda is embarking on a transformative, multi-year program called Takami, which aims to migrate the current SAP platform to S/4HANA, serving as a critical foundation for future growth and innovation. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the program’s success and fully realizing its benefits.
The FP&A Excellence ERP Transformation GPE will be responsible for driving the end-to-end transformation of finance systems and processes in alignment with the FP&A Excellence Lead through the implementation of a new ERP (S/4Hana) solution. The role spans across global functions and business units, ensuring alignment of strategy, governance, and execution to deliver accurate and reliable financial data for planning, reporting, and analysis.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:
- Supporting the end-to-end transformation of FP&A finance systems and processes through the Takami Project (SAP S/4HANA), addressing global FP&A and Controlling needs.
- Identifying ERP-enabled opportunities to improve global financial planning, including assessing benefits of key decisions and potential data/process risks.
- Ensuring the ERP solution delivers accurate, reliable financial data aligned to Takeda’s planning, reporting, and analytics needs, including integration with IBM Planning Analytics.
- Developing and managing project plans for ERP alignment and implementation, including resourcing, budget, milestones, and delivery tracking.
- Serving as the primary liaison across Global FP&A Excellence, the Takami project team, DD&T, system integrators, and global business stakeholders.
- Leading governance routines (meetings, workshops, status reporting) and maintaining clear communication with senior leadership, including summarizing key decisions and outcomes.
- Driving process harmonization and optimization within Global FP&A Excellence to align with best practices and leverage ERP capabilities.
- Establishing metrics and dashboards to monitor progress, surface insights, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Proactively managing risks, issues, and bottlenecks through structured problem-solving and timely escalation when needed.
- Designing and executing change management to enable adoption (training, communications, stakeholder engagement).
- Representing Global FP&A Excellence requirements through design, testing, and deployment.
- Ensuring alignment with financial reporting, compliance (e.g., SOX, IFRS), and operational excellence initiatives.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 6–8 years in FP&A within pharma or a similar regulated industry.
- Business fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels and excellent communication skills to clearly articulate objectives, benefits, and expectations to relevant stakeholders.
- Exceptional change management capability, driving adoption in complex environments.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to assess decision implications and impacts on business operations.
- Deep expertise in ERP and finance platforms/tools, including SAP (and/or JDE) and financial reporting/planning solutions such as IBM Planning Analytics, Hyperion, and HFM.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale ERP programs, preferably SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong knowledge of financial operations, including cost accounting, planning, reporting, and consolidation.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive standardization and efficiency improvements.
- Ability to analyze the impact of process changes across roles and functions.
- Strong conflict management and resolution skills, including addressing resistance and enabling constructive dialogue within and across teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams through large-scale transformation.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or CPA qualification.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance, IFRS standards, and financial best practices.

zł272,200.00 - zł374,330.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position.
