Job Description
About the role
We are seeking a Head of Global Talent Acquisition Operations & Enablement (Director level) to join our team in Łódź, Poland. This is a hybrid role, requiring an on-site presence of 2–3 days per month in our Łódź office.
In this role, you will set the strategy and drive execution for Talent Acquisition Operations & Enablement, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality recruitment experience across Takeda.
You will oversee a globally distributed team of Enablement Leads, Operations Partners, and Talent Acquisition Coordinators, supporting their development while fostering strong collaboration and reliable delivery.
You will shape and strengthen global TA operations by streamlining processes, optimizing technology and vendor performance, and enabling scalable, efficient ways of working.
A key aspect of the role is championing a data-driven approach—using insights to guide decisions, set priorities, and continuously improve outcomes.
We are looking for a strong people leader with deep expertise in TA Operations, solid analytical skills, and the ability to turn complex, global priorities into clear, high-impact actions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end TA Operations delivery globally, including interview logistics, offer management, background checks, onboarding readiness, and coordination—ensuring efficiency, scalability, and a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
Define, standardize, and continuously improve global TA processes, policies, and procedures, balancing global consistency with regional and regulatory requirements.
Strengthen recruiter effectiveness across Takeda by enabling training, communities of practice, and capability-building initiatives that improve hiring outcomes.
Drive adoption and optimization of TA technologies (e.g., ATS and related tools), ensuring seamless workflows and a positive user experience.
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and implement solutions that improve speed, quality, compliance, and overall performance.
Establish and govern global standards for operational excellence, including audits, compliance controls, and alignment with internal policies and external labor laws.
Manage and optimize relationships with external vendors (e.g., RPO providers, background check providers, technology partners) to ensure high-quality service, performance, and compliance.
Partner closely with HR, Legal, Procurement, and Data, Digital & Technology teams to align priorities, reduce risk, and enhance the end-to-end hiring ecosystem.
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Bring clarity across a broad portfolio by prioritizing initiatives that deliver the greatest impact for Talent Acquisition and Takeda.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or a related field within a global, matrixed organization
Demonstrated experience leading globally distributed teams and driving performance across regions
Deep expertise in TA Operations, including process design, governance, and execution
Strong experience with TA technologies (e.g., Workday, HiredScore, Avature, Paradox)
Proven ability to prioritize and execute in complex, fast-paced environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
