S2P Exceptions Process Transformation Lead

The Source to Pay Exceptions Process Transformation Lead is accountable for overseeing and managing the governance process related to exceptions in the source-to-pay (S2P) cycle. This involves mapping and identifying, analyzing, transforming, and implementing operational side, creating KPIs and passing to Business as Usual / ops teams for pre-defined exception processes. This will also require building and managing global, fluctuating in size and scope team.

The lead is responsible for ensuring that exceptions are properly documented, reviewed, and approved according to established guidelines. He/She will also collaborate with various stakeholders, such as procurement teams, finance departments, and suppliers, to address and transform exceptions effectively.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Developing and implementing transformation strategy with S2P Finance Lead – be responsible for identifying exceptions and creating a roadmap for process mapping, change, improvement, and standardization. Completing projects documentation, preparing it for the transition to business as usual.
  • Build high performance team and build career path for Exception professionals both within TBS and between TBS and other Takeda organizations (global team that may vary with regards to scope and size – US presence, customer proximity, is mandatory element for the sucess)
  • Leading change initiatives - will play a crucial role in leading and managing change initiatives within the organization in exceptions process. This includes communicating the vision for change, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring successful adoption of new processes, technologies, or ways of working.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams – will need to work closely with various stakeholders to align objectives, coordinate efforts, and drive collective success.
  • Monitoring and evaluating progress – track the progress of transformation initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness. You will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing data, and making adjustments as needed to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Providing guidance and support – will need to provide guidance and support to individuals and teams throughout the transformation journey. This includes coaching, mentoring, and facilitating training sessions to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Managing risks and challenges – identify potential obstacles, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address any issues that may arise during the transformation process.

  • Project Management - be able to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the overall transformation strategy.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability - open to learning, adapting, and evolving their approach based on feedback and changing circumstances. Continuous improvement and a growth mindset are essential elements of the role.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in preferably in finance/accounting/economics
  • Minimum of 5 years of general finance experience
  • Experience of working in a European / International shared services environment in Procurement/Finance area
  • Strong leadership skills, problem-solving and critical thinking and excellent communication skills
  • Process mapping and analysis, Lean Six-Sigma methodologies and project management skills
  • Fluent in English
