Are you an experienced Accountant / Senior Specialist in area of Treasury with multi-national corporate treasury and accounting experience and a detail oriented, with strong communication skills? As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth in the U.S. and Europe, Takeda Global Capability Center is now hiring a Treasury Solutions Senior Specialist with a passion for Treasury Accounting, digital solutions, and helping patients.

This is a vital role within Treasury Solutions’ functional, dynamic, newly created team within Global Capability Center. We play a key role in supporting Corporate Treasury in daily operational activities and long-term projects and initiatives.

Here, you will help GCC realize our inspiring vision to build and deliver simplified, innovative solutions by unlocking the value of data for our global business. This, in turn, empowers Takeda’s unwavering commitment to patients.

As a Treasury Solutions Specialist, you will provide service and solutions in the below Treasury areas: Accounting & Reporting, Foreign Exchange management. Reporting to the Treasury Solutions Manager, you will be an innovative, trusted partner to business and Treasury Cash Management (Operations) and Financial Risk Management.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:

• Prepare accounting entries; perform valuation and reconciliation for Treasury-related items.

• Ensure loans, derivatives, bonds, and related interest transactions are accurately recorded in Treasury systems in accordance with applicable agreements.

• Perform foreign exchange (FX) variance and profit and loss (P&L) analysis.

• Prepare, review, and validate Treasury financial statements and reports (e.g., balance sheet exposure, Treasury limits, FX gains/losses), as required.

• Manage month-end close activities for Treasury entities and Treasury transactions.

• Actively support and, where required, lead Treasury projects.

• Serve as the Treasury subject matter expert (SME) for cross-functional projects and initiatives.

• Identify process improvement opportunities; implement and support efficiency initiatives within the team.

• Collaborate cross-functionally within TBS and with external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.

• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of In-House Bank reconciliation, end-of-day processes, and host-to-host (H2H) payments; provide backup support for team members as needed.

• Perform additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager within the Treasury Solutions area.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting,

• 3-5 years work experience overall with a shared services environment within a large multinational organization,

• Excellent Communication skills,

• Audit / SOX / process controls experience,

• SAP ERP experience,

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail,

• Proficiency in English language, verbal and written.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in external innovations and automation (Kyriba, Power BI, Robotics, AI)

• Strong analytical skills – able to identify anomalies in data and solve them quickly and effectively

• Project Management and systems implementation experience
