Role Overview

We are seeking a highly visible and business-critical leader to join our UK & Ireland operations. This role will champion financial excellence, supply chain resilience, and facilities management, while embodying Takeda’s values and driving strategic impact across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to understand drivers and challenge performance.
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors and internal finance matters.
  • Liaise with shared service centres and lead balance sheet reviews.
  • Oversee P&L and balance sheet accounts for UKIE Management units.
  • Ensure supply chain KPIs are met and manage third-party logistics providers.
  • Lead facilities operations to ensure compliant, efficient office environments.
  • Drive budgeting, strategic planning, and KPI development.
  • Support investment analysis and contract negotiations.
  • Develop succession plans and build a world-class finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global financial, tax, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Extensive pharmaceutical finance and supply chain experience, including P&L ownership.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, VAT, tax, and financial planning.
  • Experience in demand planning, distribution, customs, and facilities management.
  • Proven leadership in cross-cultural environments and high-performance teams.
  • Fluency in English.
