Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB
The Corporate Affairs Specialist develops and maintains an effective system of interaction with representatives of key government authorities and other decision-makers in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry to support Company's activities and to minimize barriers to patient access to necessary treatment. Provides effective support for the work and coordination of projects of the Corporate Affairs & Patient Advocacy Department.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Additional education GR, PR is welcomed.
- 1-3 years of experience in the field of corporate affairs, GR.
- Confident PC user: Windows, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point.
- English - Upper Intermediate.
- Special knowledge, skills and competencies:
- Clear understanding of the business environment, ability to analyze and apply legal aspects in current activities;
- Specific knowledge of legislation, regulatory framework related to the development of the healthcare system, production and turnover of medicines;
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- High level of cross-functional communication with internal and external partners;
- Effective project management, ability to prioritize and achieve results in a multi-tasking environment;
- Responsibility, commitment, persistence in achieving goals;
- Critical thinking, creative approach;
- Integrity, commitment, ability to adapt in a complex and frequently changing environment; ability to control the situation and meet deadlines.
DUTIES
- Supports the Executive Director, Corporate Affairs & Patient Advocacy in developing relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of legislative and executive decision-making.
- Conducts regular monitoring of the current situation and changes in the healthcare regulatory environment, as well as assessment of possible political risks to minimize their impact on the Company's reputation and achievement of its goals.
- Prepares regular presentations/reports on the development of the healthcare regulatory environment as it relates to the Company's objectives.
- Contributes into development and implementation a systematic strategy of interaction with key stakeholders, forms and prepares necessary documents.
- Contribute into development and implementation the initiatives aimed at popularization of the Company's public goals and objectives, development and implementation of the strategy of effective dialogue between the Company and government institutions.
- Contributes to the preparation of the Company's position in industry associations and professional unions / chambers of commerce within its competence. Timely prepares and presents required information and documents, as well as reports on request.
- Coordinates and supports the organization of partnership projects with patient and community organizations, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Controls and ensures the required reporting is conducted in full compliance with corporate, legal and ethical standards.
- Develops and maintains continuously constructive relations with the professional external environment and leading tasks fulfillment in cooperation with colleges from other departments of the Company.
- Proposes improving approaches to resolving tasks to the line management on related to the department’s activities.
- Goes on business trips to perform his (her) duties and to participate in events organized by the Company.
- Maintains and improvs his (her) qualification to efficiently perform his (her) duties, receiving training organized by the Company.
- Performs any other duties within the framework of his (her) competence not conflicting with this job description.
