PURPOSE OF JOB

The Customs and Transportation Manager  is responsible for managing and planning the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and overseeing the transshipment of materials and products. This role helps ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of Takeda's supply chain operations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: higher; Experience of work in logistics, import/export, customs expertise of at least 3 years; Upper-intermediate level English; Special knowledge and skills:

- knowledge of logistics processes,

- knowledge of the RF laws on circulation of medicines, dietary supplements, customs and logistics, products import rules, certification;

- experience of using databases and logistic information systems;

- knowledge of international rules of the foreign economic activity.

DUTIES

• Managing import/export documentation and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Coordinating transportation logistics and ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Monitoring warehouse operations to optimize goods flow and meet deadlines.
• Planning and controlling customs duties and transportation expenses.
• Collaborating with providers to ensure quality of brokerage and logistics services.
• Developing and improving processes, SOPs, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Supporting cross-functional teams and resolving logistical challenges.
